Kim Moes – Senior Advisor

Kim Moes is a Senior Living Industry professional with over 15 years’ experience working with seniors in the surrounding Sacramento area.  While finishing her degree at American River College, she began working as a caregiver with Eskaton.  During her time as a caregiver, she found her passion and and a place where going to work no longer became a chore, so she began exploring additional roles in the field.

While working in care buildings for over a decade, she gained valuable experience in both marketing and operations. Although a part of her overall growth and understanding of the industry, her primary passion always gravitated back to care management. She went on to study Montessori-Based Dementia Programming (MBDP) with the hopes of standardizing the method within the dementia care setting, and she considers this move one of the most pivotal points in her career. She believes that reminding staff and families of the importance of capturing a senior’s attention for a few minutes, multiple times a day is so important to their overall happiness and life fulfillment.

Kim has worked with multiple corporate Assisted Living communities, as well as several smaller care facilities, and has gained invaluable hands-on experience that she now uses to help navigate families through the process of placement and care.

Kim has experience in licensed RCFE administration and is currently working towards her Certified Senior Advisor license.
